VOCAL consists of and welcomes not only victims/survivors of crime, but also family members, friends, service providers, lawyers, police, psychologists, health care and other professionals, and concerned people from the general community. Become a member of our Association today! Become part of our network ... and know that you are doing something practical to support your community's right to be safe. At VOCAL we discovered that when victims learned to use political action demanding positive societal change, things started to happen. But after 20 years, the job isnt done yet, not even close! Members count. Will you join? Becoming a member also entitles you to join the VOCAL committee. All member information is confidential. Please contact us if you experience any difficulties using the on-line connection. Coming soon: Members will soon also have the opportunity to take part in an online blog which is currently being developed for the VOCAL website. This will be a safe and friendly online method of accessing support, sharing information, expressing thoughts and feelings, and establishing an informal support network. |
Every year in NSW 26% or 1,767,008 people are victims of crime, many more threatened, and too many killed.
